Senior Compliance Advisor & MLRO, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

The Role

Take responsibility for ensuring that robust compliance frameworks support effective and ethical business practices.

• Provide compliance support across group companies in line with regulatory standards


• Fulfil the appointed role of Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the Class 1 licence holder


• Monitor and interpret relevant legislation and regulation to ensure compliance


• Identify and address areas of regulatory risk and vulnerability


• Oversee compliance monitoring programmes and maintain regulatory registers and logs


• Support regulatory visits and manage communications with the Isle of Man FSA and UK FCA


• Deliver compliance training and promote a positive compliance culture across the business


• Handle and investigate complaints in line with regulatory requirements

About You

You are a knowledgeable and confident compliance professional with strong analytical and communication skills.

• Relevant professional qualification or demonstrable experience in Compliance Risk Internal Audit or Legal


• Previous experience in a similar compliance role


• Strong working knowledge of AML rules and guidance


• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong advisory skills


• Organised and systematic approach with attention to detail


• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines


• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous learning
