Vacancy Description:

The Webmaster will be responsible for the day-to-day running of all live corporate websites.  Reporting to the Head Webmaster the position will be responsible for maintaining and managing the content, code, and assets used on those websites.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the corporate websites from both design and technical perspectives ensure strong adherence to technical standards, work with a robust Internet web site hosting operating systems and server software, maintain and use the in-house development environment. Apply specialised knowledge of HTML standards, XML, XSL, HTTP response codes, HTTP server logs, log analysis and work with rich media content including Flash, Real Media and Windows Media formats.

Experience Required 

Web Experience - minimum of 2 years

Coding - must be able to hand code

Standards - able to produce fully compliant code to w3c standards

Graphics - able to handle graphic manipulation when required

Rich Media - Flash experience

Search engine optimization - Good awareness required

Software & OS

Experience with Interwoven would be highly advantageous and a good knowledge and experience of the following:

Adobe Suite

W3C Standards and usability
