Vacancy Description:

Our client is looking for a Bank Distribution Proposition Manager to devise, develop and recommend annual plans for the development of propositions marketed by the company through bank distribution.

The role holder will both execute the agreed propositions him/herself, and outsource various aspects to other teams within the company, as appropriate. The scope will include all aspects of the propositions, including product, processes, technology support and communications.

Person Specification:

Minimum 5 years experience in savings/investments/protection/pensions, with at least 3 years in marketing. Extensive experience of working in a bank distribution channel is essential, as is a thorough understanding of the nature and dynamics of writing business with bank partners.

A broad knowledge of total company operations is necessary because cross-divisional working is essential in prioritising and executing proposition programmes.

A degree is required ideally business related and a Diploma in marketing would be advantageous.

Person Specification:

·         Minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing/product development role ideally within the offshore life sector

·         A senior marketing professional with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of marketing

·         An experienced international financial services marketer with knowledge of the international insurance and investment marketplace, including: an understanding of local market idiosyncrasies; market dynamics and drivers; the differing needs of international IFAs; local marketing/ promotional rules and regulations; local tax incentives and penalties; an understanding of the complex product offerings of international competitors (local and offshore)

·         Degree - ideally business related (preferred)

·         Chartered Marketer or Diploma in Marketing (preferred)

·         FCII or other insurance-related professional qualification (advantageous)
