Permanent
Fiduciaries
£25,000 – £50,000
PP22731

Description

Are you currently working in trust administration, but looking for a move away from day-to-day client admin?

This role could suit someone who enjoys the technical side of trust and company structures, but would like to move into a more risk, CDD and client review focused position.

The Role

You will be joining a Client Support team, helping to review client structures, CDD documentation and risk information across a range of trust and company clients.

This is not just a tick-box review role. The team needs someone who can look at a structure, understand how it works, and spot when something does not make sense.

Duties will include:

  • Reviewing trust and company structures as part of periodic and trigger event reviews

  • Checking CDD documents and identifying where information is missing or not up to standard

  • Looking at source of wealth/source of funds information and questioning anything that does not add up

  • Considering whether the client activity still matches the original purpose of the structure

  • Carrying out risk screening, background checks and online searches

  • Working with client administration teams to resolve review points and documentation gaps

  • Keeping client records and systems accurate and up to date

About You

The key thing for this role is trust administration experience. You do not need to be a compliance officer, but you do need to understand how trust and company structures work.

This could be a good move if you are currently in trust admin and would like to use that experience in a different way, with less day-to-day client pressure and more focus on reviews, risk and CDD.

You will suit this role if you have:

  • Experience in trust administration, client administration or a similar fiduciary services role

  • A good understanding of trust and company structures

  • Experience dealing with CDD, client reviews, source of wealth or AML requirements

  • The confidence to question information when something does not look right

  • Strong attention to detail and good written communication skills

  • A practical, common-sense approach rather than just following a checklist

Candidates from wider onboarding, corporate services or banking backgrounds may also be considered if they have strong exposure to client structures and CDD.

The Reward

  • A move away from traditional trust admin into a more risk and review focused role

  • Supportive team environment

  • Exposure to a wide range of trust and company structures

  • Training and development opportunities

  • Potential flexibility around slightly reduced hours for the right person
