Job Description

We have a brilliant opportunity to join a well-established accountancy practice and corporate service provider. This is a full time, permanent position.

The Role...

Assist, review and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion

Train, direct and supervise audit team members in the delivery of engagements to a high quality standard using the firm’s audit methodology in a timely and efficient manner

There will be opportunities to work in other areas of the general practice and fiduciaries side of the business such as the preparation of financial statements and get involved with tax compliance such as drafting tax and VAT returns

About You...

Qualified ACA or ACCA

Previous experience within an audit environment, ideally Big 4

Experienced in IFRS, FRS 101 & 102

We have a new opportunity to join a leading Life Assurance group on a permanent basis. The Investment Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting, financial reporting and analysis for investment assets within the life companies, including responsibility for the production of Singapore ILP financial statements for audit and sign-off.

The Role...

Monitor investment accounting activities and ensure adequate controls are in place

Prepare analytical review of investment performance including comparisons and commentary to market movements

Manage the annual investment reporting audit delivery and compliance with regulatory and group accounting requirements

Interrogation of finance systems including SUN, fund accounting system and policy administration systems where applicable

The management and development of team members

About You...

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or Securities and Investments qualified

Proven relevant experience in insurance or investment accounting

Technical knowledge of Life Assurance accounting (IFRS) preferable
