Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant for our client who works with some of the largest remote gambling operators in the world to ensure they run efficiently and compliantly, reducing corporate risk and protecting players in the process.

The Role...

You will be involved in overseeing a portfolio of licensed and unlicensed entities within the Gaming, IP & digital technologies industries across a range of jurisdictions and will have the opportunity to:
Maintain financial ledgers from source documents provided by the client or client manager
Compile statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP for a variety of entity types across multiple jurisdictions
Assist with the preparation of monthly gambling duty returns, quarterly regulatory return submissions, and review of VAT returns for your portfolio of clients
Assist with the preparation of cash flow projections and solvency checks
Assist with preparation of management accounts and finance reports for quarterly board meetings

About You...

You will be a part qualified accountant with relevant client accounting experience in a corporate service provider or similar environment and will have the following skills and experience:
Strong knowledge of principles, methods and procedures used in modern accounting teams
A knowledge and awareness of the e-gaming landscape
Experience of working within a client accounting environment
Experience of working on NavOne, Xero cloud accounting package, CCH accounting software and Jobstream would be an advantage
