Job Description

We have a new opportunity to join a well established Trust & Corporate Service Provider. As an Accountant within the Client Accounting team, you will assist the Client Accounting Manager in fulfilling service to a diverse range of clients.

The Role...

Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

Production of management accounts and financial statements for companies and trusts
Preparation of CT600 & Companies House filings, responsibility for all payments and submissions
IOM tax and VAT returns, ensuring all deadlines adhered to
Liaise with external advisors (e.g. auditors, tax specialists) as necessary
Supervision and coaching of a small team of client accountants

About You...

Professional qualification (ACCA preferred) with post qualification experience
Working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures an advantage
Experience in working with Viewpoint would be advantageous

Understanding and application of IT controls
Understanding and application of AML/CFT requirements
Understanding of financial and non financial risks in finance service industry

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trust Officer, to join an International Wealth Management and Corporate Service Provider on a full time permanent basis.

The Role...

On a daily basis you will:

Deal accurately with all issues and administration related tasks for a portfolio containing some complex structures, receiving, and handling efficiently all communications

Administering an allocated caseload of clients, competently and autonomously with limited support of other team members

Responsibility for all aspects of day to day Trust administration for a portfolio of clients

Direct client and intermediary contact (written and verbal)

Maintenance of Trust Accounts

Production of Minutes

About You...

You will have proven experience in a similar role, alongside:

Be FSA approved to be a director on client companies

Strong technical TCSP knowledge

Fully or part-qualified ICSA / STEP

Strong organisation and control of workflow ability for self and team

Ability to take responsibility, good level of judgement and logical approach to problem solving
