Job Description

Our client, a global wealth management organisation, are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their Operations Team. Joining on a permanent basis the role holder will be the main point of contact for all aspects of the cash, credit control, and billing function for a number of offices.

The Role…

Duties will include:

Cashflow forecasting and budget
Oversight of the debt management process
Oversight of the billing process
Providing cash information to the accounting team
Oversight of three staff members

About You…

ACCA or equivalent qualified
Experience with people management to include appraisal setting, performance management, career development
Experience working within a Finance function managing cash flows, reconciliations, and creating MI

Understanding and application of IT controls
Understanding and application of AML/CFT requirements
Understanding of financial and non financial risks in finance service industry

Carry out manual adjustments accurately and on a timely basis

About You…

We’re looking for a graduate or A’ Level lever with the following skills and experience:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grads c or above including Maths and English
Desire to obtain accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CAT)
Able to demonstrate high level of accuracy, strong numerical skills, strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Experience of working to deadlines and under pressure
Ideally hold experience in an accounting function and familiar with the use of SAP
