Job Description

The successful candidate will assist with the financial reporting requirements of the group’s IOM-based entities/divisions and will be responsible for the production of regular management reports and forecasts, at both company level and at a consolidated/divisional level.

This role will involve working closely with other IOM and UK-based accounting staff to produce consolidated reports, whereby you will be an integral part of the group’s finance function. This is a truly unique opportunity, based in the south of the island.

The Role...

Production of monthly/quarterly management reporting for a number of IOM-based divisions and holding companies to include review of bookkeeping and maintenance of general ledgers

Production of both short-term and long-term forecast reports to include cashflows, P&L and balance sheet

Preparation of financial statements both for banking and statutory purposes

Involvement in an ongoing project to improve group accounting/reporting procedures & systems

About You...

Relevant Accountant qualification, preferably with some experience gained in an industry/ group role

Possess a high level of technical accounting knowledge

Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications to include intermediate/advanced use of Excel

Highly professional attitude, able to liaise with colleagues & external advisors in the UK, whilst also integrating into the small IOM-based team
