Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our client as a Trainee Accountant. This role will be part of one of the financial reporting team. The successful candidate will study the ACCA accounting qualification.

The Role...

Core responsibilities including:

Studying towards your ACCA exams

Expanding your experience through rotations between the various teams over the course of your training period

Help and assist the financial reporting or financial systems teams

About You...

You will need:

GCSE grade B for Mathematics and English, 120 UCAS points excluding General Studies and hold or be on track for at least a 2.2 in your degree

Good numerical skills and the ability to analyse data

Familiarity with Excel and Word (or similar packages)

Are you a senior tax manager with experience in a fiduciary environment? We are looking for an experienced individual to provide technical UK direct tax support to clients and team members and client services teams.

The Role...

The primary role will be to deliver tax compliance and advisory services in relation to private clients. On a daily basis you will:

Ensure direct tax compliance requirements are met for own client portfolio and assist with technical support on wider clients of the group
Advise client services on direct tax related matters
Support client services by attending client and potential client meetings
Provide technical input to the business development team
Draft tax articles for newsletter and marketing initiatives
Research and analysis of new and current tax legislation affecting the business and clients

About You...

You will have strong technical skills and a proven track record of dealing successful with a wide range of UK tax issues alongside:

Technical experience of UK and IOM tax regimes
Be a qualified professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA)

Have relevant experience in the CSP environment
