Job Description

Are you a talented accountant seeking a new challenge? We are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our client’s team and contribute to the business’ success.

The Role…

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing CSP, Fund, and Trust management accounts/valuations
Preparing financial statements for companies incorporated in various jurisdictions, including Isle of Man, United Kingdom, BVI, Ireland, and Cayman Islands
Managing Auditors and ensuring smooth sign-offs in accordance with regulatory deadlines
Handling bookkeeping for entities and completing tax returns (IOM, VAT, UK)
Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual management account reviews for CSP Client Companies, including Statements of Assets and Liabilities and VAT
Overseeing monthly client account reconciliations and annual trust account reconciliations

About You…

Applicants should possess strong communication and influencing skills, effectively conveying complex information and handling challenging situations with tact and assertiveness, you will also:

Show a keen interest in personal development, embracing new ideas and approaches
Proven experience in a similar position
Qualified ACCA Accountant (Part-Qualified may be considered)

Understanding and application of AML/CFT requirements
Understanding of financial and non financial risks in finance service industry

Ensure financial information produced reflects the results of the entity with variances investigated are reported
Carry out manual adjustments accurately and on a timely basis

About You…

We’re looking for a graduate or A’ Level lever with the following skills and experience:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grads c or above including Maths and English
Desire to obtain accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CAT)
Able to demonstrate high level of accuracy, strong numerical skills, strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Experience of working to deadlines and under pressure
Ideally hold experience in an accounting function and familiar with the use of SAP
