We have a new opportunity to join our client, an award-winning telecoms business. This is one of the fastest growing Tech Companies in the UK and they are looking for a driven, dynamic and customer-focussed Accountant to work within their Finance Team.

The Role...

Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and onward reporting to internal and external stakeholders

Covenant monitoring and reporting to external finance providers

Training and mentoring junior members of staff

Assisting with financial and strategic due diligence of potential merger and acquisition opportunities

About You...

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, ideally with audit experience

Ambition to be a key team member, driving an already successful business to even greater heights

Solid commercial acumen and a desire to push boundaries to constantly improve

Experience of working within a business with high volumes of transactions would be desirable

Data & analytics management, experience analysing data to interpret, visualise and identify trends
Understanding and application of IT controls
Understanding and application of AML/CFT requirements
Understanding of financial and non financial risks in finance service industry

You will take ownership of the preparation of financial reporting requirements and your responsibilities will include:

Producing deliverables to a high degree of accuracy on a timely basis
Ensure management information packs are prepared in accordance with the service level agreements and internal reporting timetable
Ensure financial information produced reflects the results of the entity with variances investigated are reported
Carry out manual adjustments accurately and on a timely basis

About You…

We’re looking for a graduate or A’ Level lever with the following skills and experience:

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grads c or above including Maths and English
Desire to obtain accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CAT)
Able to demonstrate high level of accuracy, strong numerical skills, strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Experience of working to deadlines and under pressure
Ideally hold experience in an accounting function and familiar with the use of SAP
