Client Support Officer required to join the Payments Team of a banking & wealth management company on a permanent basis

The Role...
As part of the Payments Team need to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all banking services:
Dealing with external/internal banking clients, ensuring delivery of a quality and responsive service in respect of all their banking requirements
Ensure all transactions, payments, and FX instructions (client, corporate and inter-bank) are carried out accurately, within permitted timescales and in accordance with processes and procedures
Support the implementation of any new system/technology advances, revised working practices and procedures to improve the
effectiveness/efficiency of the team and deliver an improved service to our customers
Plan and co-ordinate own work to ensure tasks and turnaround times are met, escalating to the “Assistant Manager- Operations & Payments” when appropriate
Deal with telephone queries and requests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

About you...
A working knowledge of banking systems and procedures
A practical understanding of AML/CFT procedures
Strong communication skills and customer service ethos
Previous banking/financial services experience is preferred
