Job Description

Our client is looking for a Project Manager for 12 months to manage and deliver both incremental and transformational change projects, in pursuit of operational excellence. This role will ensure the successful end to end delivery of projects within Project Framework. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with team members across the various Investments teams plus stakeholders from across the wider business.

The Role...

Your core responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility for project delivery to the business
Collaborating with key 3rd parties
Navigating through procurement processes.
Leveraging your financial services sector expertise
Utilising various tools and techniques to maintain a delivery and learning cadence focused on value
Identifying and manage cross-functional and cross-technical team dependencies
Coaching and empowering the team for self-management and continuous improvement
Holding the team accountable for deliverables and promote a productive and open work environment
Resource planning to ensure achievable plans
Arranging and preparing agendas/minutes/actions for project meetings
Communicating with project team members, business customers, and third-party suppliers
Reporting progress on all active projects
Continuously improving the program and project management process for successful delivery

About You...

You will need:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Prior experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager
Strong stakeholder management skills
The ability to build trust, manage team dynamics, and motivate change
Experience coaching and supporting people through changes
Self-management skills to identify problems, mediate issues, and implement solutions
Strong communication skills at a senior level
Relevant qualifications in Project delivery, Lean, or Scrum frameworks
Experience in delivering high-quality digital software projects and products (advantageous)
Experience in a Financial Services environment (advantageous)
Familiarity with tools like Outlook, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar (advantageous)
Appropriate Project Management or Service Management qualifications (e.g. Prince 2, Agile, ITIL) (advantageous)
