Our client is seeking a Supervisor for their Policy Servicing Department to assist the Customer Service Manager for a period of 12 months
The Role...
It will be your responsibility to supervise the day to day running of the team, as such, you will:
Have a sound understanding of the internal systems AIA, Apache, Crate, WORM
Oversee the coaching and mentoring of team members, and assist them in achieving their personal development needs and providing the feedback to them during regular 1:1 meetings
To ensure defined service standards are achieved, maintained and improved upon in accordance with operational plans and objectives
Carry out more complex checking as per the checking matrix
Check/Approve, payments/fees within delegated authorities
Effectively manage the receipt, logging and allocation of the daily work / post within the team
Consistently and effectively monitor the workload throughout the day
About You...
Ideally, you will be proactive and adaptive at working in a dynamic business environment. You will need:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial Services and ideally 2 years’ experience within a Life Assurance company
Have experience of working within a team environment
Ability to network across the business areas to give and receive information
Good influencing and inter-personal skills
Ability to train / coach / develop others
Good understanding of AML / KYC requirements
Coaching, development and line management experience
