We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our lovely team as a Children and Families Community Support Worker.
In this role you will plan and deliver one of our projects that will enable families to better engage and access our expertise and support, with the aim of helping us reach more families who need us. As we can’t do this alone, this role involves working with other care providers, government partners, businesses and the public to make sure struggling families are treated fairly, transparently and with respect.
You will also support our Children and Families practice team working with families where there are particular challenges for children and young people.
You must be a confident to be able to build professional and personal relationships and have the ability to relate to and effectively communicate with people across the whole of our community, including in emotionally led situations. You will have excellent organisational and decision making skills. The ability to be able to influence and manage others to get the best out of them is essential too.
The role is for an 18 month period, is full time and will be based at the Children’s Centre.
A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must.
For further details and an application form please contact hr@thechildrenscentre.org.im or call 800000 to arrange an initial chat with Joff Whitten, CEO of The Children’s Centre.
