An opportunity has arisen for a Senior New Business Administrator in the South of the Island for an individual with a strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Fighting Financial Crime in the finance industry.
The role would suit a high performing administrator, with an in-depth understanding of customer due diligence, new business acceptance and regulatory requirements.
The Role....
Proven experience within financial services experience ideally in a new business role within Life Assurance
A good understanding of the FSA’s Insurance (Anti-Money Laundering) Regulations
Strong communication skills
Ability to deliver against deadlines and excellent organisational skills
Ability to deliver accuracy and quality performance
About You....
Reviewing new business applications to ensure they are accepted in line with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority’s (FSA’s) Guidance Notes on Anti-Money Laundering and Preventing the Financing of Terrorism – for Insurers (Long Term Business)
Ensuring that new business applications have been accepted and processed in line with internal guidelines
Ensuring that new business applications have been accepted in line with IFGL’s internal guidelines
Dealing with responses by phone/email to requests for outstanding new application requirements
Establishing and maintaining relationships with brokers, sales and regional offices
Customer Support Officer required for a telecommunications provider to be the first line of customer support, answering calls and online enquiries for a range of customer issues providing support and advice on technical and general customer queries
The Role...
The team operate 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturdays, also some public holiday cover will be required, duties include
Provide first line of customer support, answering calls and online enquiries
Providing support and advice on technical and general customer queries
Provide general support for products and services including but not limited to Sales, Service, Provisioning, Billing, Payments, Faults, Assistance, Conference Bureau and Mobile help desk
Various administration tasks
Customer registrations
Data input
Maintenance of customer data in internal systems, reporting and additional activities as required

The successful candidate will have excellent telephone manner and listening skills and experience of Customer Service, along with
Excellent customer focus, empathy and experience of working in a customer facing role
Must have strong technical knowledge to support broadband, mobile and home phone problem solving

Strong relationship and networking skills
Willing to work outside normal working hours to provide customer focused support shifts
