The Role...
The DevOps engineer will help bridge the gap between development and operations teams. Reporting to the Senior DevOps Engineer, the role will require close working relationships with all teams within the business. Duties will include:
Ensuring, with the rest of the DevOps team, projects are delivered successfully
Document any written scripts and processes
Absorb new technologies, research how to interact with those technologies/systems, and test successful integration with them
Support in the management of delivery of in house DevOps projects
Communicate and manage the project status and success to internal stakeholders through various formal and informal mechanisms
Contribute to the creation of successful delivery management processes and procedures to standardise and improve delivery efforts as the company grows
About You...
You will have experience within a similar role, in the iGaming industry, and:
Knowledge and understanding of Ansible, Ansible Tower/AWX, SQL, Elastic Stack, Kibana, Linux, Git, VMWare, Git, Kubernetes, amongst others
Possess a high level of attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
Have a clear understanding of software development lifecycle, along with continuous integration
Experienced within DevOps CI/CD applications and automated build and deploy configuration and processes e.g. Ansible
Experience of ISO and quality standards including 9001 and 27001

Operate as a senior support engineer, leading the identification and resolution of faults across the managed services portfolio, acting as an escalation point within the team
Work in close collaboration with the Service Assurance management team, other teams within the Sure group, customers, vendors and third parties to ensure KPIs are met, and that internal and external escalations are triggered where necessary
Use your extended experience and skills to bring incidents to resolution as soon as possible, following up where necessary with root cause analysis via the problem management process.
Carry out customer requests for changes to managed devices across the managed services portfolio
