Trust Manager required to join an expanding Trust Company on a permanent basis on the Isle of Man. Reporting to the Trust Director you will be responsible for the day to day management of a complex and varied portfolio of clients whilst working alongside the Management Team to supervise and oversee the delivery of Client Service. The role requires supervisory, coaching and leadership skills in managing the team.
The Role…
Day to day management and oversight of the Client Service team and Client portfolio
The ability to manage clients and client advisors so as to resolve key issues effectively
Marketing the business and involvement in the take on process of any new business
Select and deliver planned and effective solutions in a timely, operationally viable and cost-effective basis whilst protecting the integrity of the company
Building and maintaining good working relationships with both Clients and Intermediaries, directorships on client companies
Financial management of your client portfolio, fee collection.
Monitoring of the financial statement preparation process and related tax reporting
Ensuring high standards of service delivery at all times
Ensuring a high standard of compliance with all regulatory obligations
About You…
Relevant professional qualification, i.e. STEP, Governance Institute, ACA, ACCA is considered essential
Extensive experience in the TCSP industry with a number of years in a management position
Working knowledge of the current AML legislation and FSA rule book as they apply to a regulated TCSP
Pragmatic with excellent problem-solving skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills
A team player with ability to communicate at all levels
Ability to produce quality work to deadlines
Be driven and highly motivated to progress
Hands on and efficient approach to the management and development of others, encouraging collaboration
PC and MS Office literate
Structured approach to work, with excellent organisational skills
