Our client is seeking a Crew Superintendent / P&I Assistant who will work on a busy portfolio of vessels in addition to supporting the P&I Manager with a full range of P&I tasks.
The Role...
You will manage the day-to-day running of a busy group of vessels and your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Crew changes (including travel, hotel, visas)
Maintenance of our in-house crew package
Authorising of Invoices/Port Disbursements
Ensuring that adequate insurance is in place for all vessels for crew liability & cashbox
Compiling and submitting crew P & I claims to the appropriate Club
About You...
Ideally, you will have previous experience as Crew Superintendent and hold the following skills:
Self-driven, proactive, and dedicated to excellent client service
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

The Role…
Your duties will include:
Collating information for periodic reports for all technical ships i.e., Trading Ports, Consumptions, Speeds, P & I Claims, Delays / Deviations
Compiling and forwarding to P&I Clubs/Owners (as applicable) the relevant documentation regarding all cases aboard technically managed ships
Compiling and monitoring Ship Details records
Monitoring Stevedore damage claims and guarantee claims

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
The ability to work individually and within a team, work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Shipping knowledge would be beneficial

Providing support and advice on technical and general customer queries
Provide general support for products and services including but not limited to Sales, Service, Provisioning, Billing, Payments, Faults, Assistance, Conference Bureau and Mobile help desk
Various administration tasks
Customer registrations
Data input
Maintenance of customer data in internal systems, reporting and additional activities as required
About you...
The successful candidate will have excellent telephone manner and listening skills and experience of Customer Service, along with
Excellent customer focus, empathy and experience of working in a customer facing role
Must have strong technical knowledge to support broadband, mobile and home phone problem solving
Superb telephone manner and listening skills
Strong relationship and networking skills
Willing to work outside normal working hours to provide customer focused support shifts
Ability to produce accurate, good quality work
Well organised and methodical
Demonstrate an interest in current and future technology
