Up this week is Vicki Blackburn! A seasoned senior Recruiter, Vicki has supported job seekers and recruited on behalf of employers on the Isle of Man since 2003. An absolute champion of helping job seekers to identify their strengths and build confidence, Vicki genuinely loves helping her candidates even more than relaxing on her sofa!

What did you want to be when you were younger?
It was my dream to become an Air hostess; travel, see the world, until I discovered I have a terrible fear of flying. Even now I get a 4 hour boat to Liverpool instead of a 20 minute flight!
What is your favourite movie?
I just love a typical rom com, fall in love and everything is perfect – The Holiday (I’m a dreamer)
Where will you be found outside of work?
I could lie but I have to admit my sofa
Early riser or night owl?
I am definitely an early riser, I find if I am at home I have to have a nanna nap in the afternoon, it’s all downhill in the evening
Do you have any party tricks/ talents?

I have worked in recruitment for a long time, I am extremely passionate about assisting people find their first or their next role. I take a more relaxed approach in my interview technique as I strive to find out about what makes people tick and their personality traits. We have such fantastic Directors here and a team who all help each other and support each other, teamwork is so important and is reflective in our success.
