Step into a role where your expertise will be crucial for the Group's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting horizon scanning and managing emerging changes to the Group's regulatory environment
- Continuously assessing and managing the Group's regulatory and compliance risks
- Maintaining the Group's suite of policies to address identified risks
- Coordinating first-line monitoring of compliance systems and controls
- Designing, collating, and delivering management information for governance reporting
- Providing compliance training, including financial crime prevention and data protection
- Interacting with supervisors, law enforcement agencies, auditors, and counterparties
- Maintaining and administering the Group's data protection framework
- Offering regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with team members to foster a robust and pragmatic risk and compliance culture
- Assisting with projects and tasks to ensure the successful delivery of the team's purpose
About You...
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A degree or diploma-level qualification in Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or a related field
- Relevant working experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention, or a similar role, with a strong performance record
- The ability to make decisions and use initiative within regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
- In-depth understanding of domestic regulation, particularly the Financial Services Rule Book, AML/CFT Code, and Handbook
- Working knowledge of international regulatory initiatives impacting the Isle of Man
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Accomplished presenter to internal and external audiences
- Expert understanding of data protection (desirable)
