Reconciliations Manager, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

The Role

Lead a dedicated finance team and manage critical reconciliation processes across the business.

• Oversee financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate with departments across IT Operations and third parties to resolve reconciliation issues


• Review balance sheet reconciliations and escalate discrepancies where necessary


• Drive automation initiatives including ledger systems RPAs and data tools


• Maintain and update the reconciliation matrix for Group-wide coverage


• Train and support team members to build reconciliation capability


• Adhere to month end timetables including journal posting and reporting activities


• Ensure internal controls are followed and payments processed with the correct authorisations
• Participate in adhoc finance and system improvement projects

About You

You are a detail- riven financial professional who thrives on structure problem solving and mentoring others.

• Part qualified accountant or working towards an accounting qualification


• Strong experience in reconciliations or financial control roles


• Advanced Excel and excellent numeracy skills


• Effective communicator who can liaise at all levels of the business


• Experience with ERP systems ideally SUN and Xero


• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure


• Keen to contribute to continual process improvements
