Description

Take the lead in shaping a high performing finance operations function within a fast-paced and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

Drive operational excellence across payments, treasury, reconciliations and financial controls.


  • Lead and manage the Finance Operations teams to ensure effective delivery of banking, payments and collections

  • Oversee the Group Treasury function and authorise high value transactions in line with policy

  • Maintain strong control over operational bank accounts, mandates and authorisation matrices

  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations within agreed service levels

  • Continuously review and enhance operational processes for greater efficiency and control

  • Report to senior committees and support risk management activities including CRSA

  • Manage supplier contracts and negotiate bank charges to secure commercial benefits

  • Foster strong relationships with banking partners, credit card acquirers and fund providers

  • Lead local and corporate finance projects and represent Finance in wider business change initiatives



About You

An experienced finance operations professional with a strategic mindset and strong leadership capabilities.


  • Previous experience in payments, treasury, reconciliations and banking operations

  • Qualified or working towards a professional designation such as CISI or ACT

  • Demonstrated people management skills with experience leading large operational teams

  • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and risk frameworks

  • Track record of delivering process improvements and leading change initiatives

  • Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills

  • Analytical thinker with effective reporting and communication abilities

  • Resilient under pressure with strong prioritisation and decision making skills

  • Up to date knowledge of banking and financial operations across the industry
