The Role
A strategic support role helping to shape and implement people policies and practice
- Provide general HR advice to board members and management across the organisation
- Review and enhance HR policies, processes, systems and tools
- Support staff development planning and identify training needs
- Advise on appropriate local benefits packages
- Ensure alignment with legal and best practice standards in HR management
About You
The ideal candidate will bring sound HR knowledge and a supportive, proactive approach
- Experience working in a HR Department at Officer or Advisor level
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
- Proven experience handling sensitive matters confidentially and in line with GDPR
- Excellent communication skills and ability to advise stakeholders effectively
- Strong organisational skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Team player who is also confident working independently and taking initiative
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
