The Role

A pivotal role focused on driving and embedding Non-Financial Risk management frameworks across diverse business functions.


  • Lead the execution of Non-Financial Risk management processes and frameworks across business units

  • Act as the key liaison for fraud risk, information risk and operational risk activities

  • Complete Risk and Control Self-Assessments and maintain the NFR management system

  • Perform ongoing analysis of risk exposure and support senior management with escalation of residual risk

  • Develop and support a strong culture of risk and control through awareness initiatives and advisory work

  • Contribute to the implementation and reporting of RCC processes to enhance ownership and accountability

  • Monitor risk appetite metrics and deliver data-driven insights to inform business decisions

  • Provide risk oversight and support to the business on key projects, policy developments and third-party engagements

  • Embed frameworks covering PCI DSS, Information Risk, TPRM, Logical Access Management and Data Privacy

  • Stay up to date with evolving regulatory requirements and emerging risk trends



About You

You are an experienced risk professional ready to influence strategy, culture and outcomes across the business.


  • Previous experience in Non-Financial Risk or Operational Risk within financial services

  • Deep knowledge of risk frameworks, RCSA processes and the 16 NFR risk types

  • Strong understanding of financial and non-financial risk characteristics

  • Excellent analytical, advisory and stakeholder management skills

  • Educated to Advanced Diploma or Degree level in Business Commerce or Risk Management

  • Confident in challenging ideas, providing insights and making data-led decisions

  • Capable of leading discussions on third-party risk, data governance and control environments

  • Comfortable working independently and across teams with high accountability
