Description

A forward thinking wealth management organisation is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and optimise IT systems, combining hands-on technical delivery with a proactive approach to stability, availability and efficiency.

The Role
A technically diverse position maintaining the health and performance of critical infrastructure

  • Ensure the availability and functionality of servers networks and storage systems

  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime

  • Implement automation to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency

  • Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure systems and procedures

  • Optimise the use of infrastructure resources to meet budgetary and performance goals

  • Deliver cost effective and scalable solutions in both physical and cloud environments

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide reliable and secure IT services



About You
A technically capable and resourceful engineer with a strong foundation in modern IT infrastructure

  • Experience managing Windows and Linux servers Active Directory networking and virtualisation platforms

  • Skilled in cloud services such as Azure AWS or Google Cloud including deployment and security best practice

  • Knowledge of backup strategies monitoring tools and storage solutions including SAN NAS and RAID

  • Strong problem solving skills with a proactive approach to performance optimisation and fault resolution

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to document systems and collaborate effectively across teams
