Description

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping financial crime strategy within a growing and forward-thinking business? Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Crime Prevention Specialist to join their Isle of Man team.

The Role
Lead and embed a robust AML and CFT framework across a multi-jurisdictional financial services group

  • Act as or support the DMLRO with Controlled Function R16 responsibilities

  • Interpret financial crime legislation and ensure compliance across jurisdictions

  • Embed and maintain AML CFT and fraud prevention frameworks group-wide

  • Oversee regulatory responses including SARs and law enforcement orders

  • Develop internal procedures and risk-based monitoring programmes

  • Support group-wide AML CFT reporting and assurance reviews

  • Provide subject matter expertise to strategic projects and M&A due diligence

  • Support the implementation of control improvements across Line 1 teams



About You
You�ll bring expert knowledge of financial crime risk and a strategic mindset ready to influence change

  • At least 2 to 5 years� experience in a senior financial crime role ideally with R16 DMLRO status

  • In depth understanding of AML CFT legislation and regulatory risk across multiple jurisdictions

  • Proven background in life assurance or financial services with strong commercial acumen

  • Strong problem-solving strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills

  • Professional qualifications or willingness to achieve within 18 months

  • Experience supporting businesses through change and growth

  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to operate with integrity and independence

  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
