The Role

A pivotal role ensuring regulatory compliance across a dynamic business unit.


  • Identify and assess compliance risks within operational activities

  • Maintain and apply a business-specific Regulatory Universe

  • Contribute to and compile compliance performance reports

  • Ensure effective implementation of compliance frameworks and policies

  • Customise and manage risk management plans

  • Monitor and report on the progress of compliance monitoring plans

  • Act as liaison during regulatory inspections and manage information requests

  • Provide expert advice on legislative and regulatory developments

  • Align compliance manuals with unique business needs

  • Review training content and deliver tailored compliance sessions

  • Support and monitor remediation efforts for control gaps

  • Report material compliance issues through appropriate channels



About You

You will bring deep compliance knowledge and a passion for enabling compliant business practices.


  • First degree in Audit, Business, Commerce or Legal required

  • Postgraduate qualification in Audit or Legal preferred

  • Previous experience in compliance roles

  • Sound understanding of banking products and financial regulation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to influence, persuade and build effective relationships

  • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, decision-making and providing insights

  • Proven ability to follow procedures and uphold ethical standards
