- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting including reconciliations and reviews
- Support statutory, regulatory and tax reporting processes, taking the lead on specific tasks
- Work closely with auditors and contribute to successful audit completion
- Help enhance financial control processes and ensure compliance with changing regulations
- Develop new ways of analysing and presenting financial data
- Provide valuable support to the wider Finance team across a range of activities
About You
You will bring enthusiasm, initiative and a proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Trainee or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in finance or audit
- Previous experience in a finance function, ideally within financial services
- Solid understanding of statutory audits and financial reporting processes
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communicator who works well both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with SUN or similar accounting packages
- Knowledge of SharePoint or life assurance systems is desirable
