Finance Systems and Projects Administrator, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

An exciting opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Finance Systems and Projects team within one of the Isle of Mans largest and fastest growing employers.

The Role

You will provide essential support to our finance function while contributing to a variety of projects aligned to group strategy.

• Provide daily support to the finance function ensuring user access, chart of accounts updates and general system queries are resolved


• Administer the group purchase order system maintaining set-up and authorisation hierarchies while driving process improvements


• Support the bespoke finance data warehouse


• Assist with finance specific and group wide projects including identifying requirements, development, testing and implementation


• Review existing processes and systems and recommend changes across the finance function


• Assist with implementation and upgrades of accounts systems, controls and procedures


• Support reconciliation of system control accounts by reviewing and analysing results, liaising with stakeholders, and taking corrective action

About You

You will be an adaptable and collaborative team player with a strong background in finance systems and a keen eye for detail.

• Experience in using and administering finance systems, accounting packages and financial reconciliation systems


• Previous experience within financial services with knowledge of the policy life cycle desirable


• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel


• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data


• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL Server Management Services advantageous


• Good written and verbal communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders
