Investment Accounts Officer, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Join a dynamic Finance Investment Accounting Team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting for investment assets.

The Role

You will ensure precision in accounting and analysis for investment assets across multiple life companies.

• Processing and recording multicurrency investment-related transactions and policy corrections


• Producing complete internal control reconciliations


• Delivering accurate monthly financial reports to internal and external customers


• Producing timely investment reporting audit deliverables


• Providing accurate Asset Look through data


• Liaising with the actuarial function to support accurate solvency calculations


• Challenging procedures, controls and reporting processes to improve reporting quality and efficiency


• Interrogating accounting, policy, and investment systems to interpret data and solve technical issues


• Producing financial statements and documentation required by relevant regulatory authorities


• Providing training and support for junior team members and cross-training colleagues where needed

About You

You will bring proven financial expertise and a sharp analytical mind to the role.

• Previous experience in Finance, investments, or relevant accounting fields


• Understanding of investment transactions and/or accounting principles across a range of asset types


• Experience with Investment and, or accounting systems such as SUN, InvestPro or Accurate


• Highly numerate and analytical with strong interpretative skills


• Capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and balancing priorities


• Strong communicator both verbally and in writing
