You will lead a small team and manage a mixed portfolio of accountancy and trust clients providing high quality client service and technical oversight
- Oversee a small team of up to five people and report directly to a Director
- Manage an assigned portfolio of clients across accountancy and fiduciary services
- Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements and deliver client facing support
- Oversee and check taxation and VAT returns and assessments
- Review work and organise assignment of tasks for junior staff including supervision training and technical support
- Conduct appraisals and bi monthly reviews for team members
About You
You will be a qualified accountant with strong leadership skills commercial awareness and a client focused approach
- Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with practice training background
- Experience in full accounts preparation, VAT, and payroll is essential/li>
- Proven ability to lead train and mentor junior staff
- Commercially aware with a strong client service mindset
