A proactive role focused on managing and improving third party supplier performance and governance.
- Ensure suppliers conform to group policies and company standards taking action where required
- Build and operate robust commercial and procurement approaches aligned to group vendor management practices
- Onboard new suppliers in line with regulatory and governance requirements
- Carry out supplier segmentation and regular performance reviews
- Identify and raise risks using established technology and risk management processes and tools
- Support the IT Contract and Procurement Specialist with purchase orders when required
About You
You are a confident and organised professional with strong procurement and relationship management expertise.
- In depth knowledge of procurement and supply chain management practices
- Previous experience as a vendor relationship manager relationship owner or supply chain manager ideally within financial services
- Experience using Office 365 collaboration tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities
