- Define compelling business cases that deliver tangible benefits
- Document as-is and to-be process flows
- Elicit and document clear actionable business requirements and user stories
- Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities and support decision making
- Perform gap analyses and impact assessments
- Provide business analysis support for software development testing data migration and upgrades
- Collaborate with third parties project managers product owners and IT teams
- Support UAT planning testing and validation to ensure business readiness
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practice within the Change Department
About You
You are an analytical and proactive professional with a proven track record of delivering business improvement and transformation projects.
- Proven previous experience as a Business Analyst preferably within the life assurance industry
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on value identification and decision support
- Proven experience delivering business improvements efficiencies and digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks including financial reporting and risk management
- Experience with data modelling and data mapping in financial systems
- Knowledge of API integrations and file transfer processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent facilitation presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a large project team
- Confidence in building relationships across all levels of the business
- Experience working in agile or waterfall environments
- Proficient with Microsoft products including Excel and Visio as well as SQL and DevOps
- Relevant professional qualification or working towards one such as BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
