- Design implement and oversee a comprehensive compliance programme and internal controls
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the Islands AML/CFT regulatory framework
- Draft maintain and deliver the AML/CFT Supervisory Inspection Programme including all supporting documentation and related reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory objectives and align the interests of stakeholders including the FSA
- Manage administrative requirements of scheduling and delivering AML/CFT supervisory inspections
- Familiarise yourself with the status of each Practice their services and client base to support a risk based supervisory approach
- Establish and maintain effective regulatory and support relationships with MLROs of each Practice
- Assist with the compilation of evidence and written reports for sanction or enforcement action
- Promote a strong culture of compliance through education and training for all member practices
- Coordinate the annual Masterclass quarterly coffee hours and online training including AML/CFT and Data Security training
- Provide support to Members via the AML/CFT Helpline and maintain an advisory log to identify key themes
- Draft compliance content for the Company weekly email and supervise junior staff as required
- Liaise with government agencies including FIU Cabinet Office National Risk Assessment working group IOMLS Council and FSA

- Strong leadership communication and decision making skills
- Deep understanding of relevant laws regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in risk assessment control implementation and policy development
- Ability to influence business practices and build a positive ethical environment internally and externally
- Experience in managing AML/CFT inspections or similar regulatory programmes is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a part time role
- Ability to develop and deliver training to support compliance culture
