Tax Compliance Senior, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

Take ownership of Isle of Man tax compliance for a varied client portfolio while guiding junior colleagues and ensuring technical excellence.

The Role

A responsible and technically focused role supporting the preparation review and delivery of tax compliance work.

• Prepare Isle of Man personal company and trust tax returns in line with regulatory requirements and deadlines


• Prepare and review Manx income tax and company tax returns


• Review tax returns prepared by trainees providing guidance quality assurance and feedback


• Monitor statutory deadlines and assist with timely and accurate client correspondence


• Liaise with clients and third parties in relation to tax compliance matters and information requests


• Maintain current knowledge of Isle of Man tax legislation and share relevant updates with the team


• Provide day to day support to trainees and junior team members


• Assist with onboarding and training on tax return processes and internal systems


• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives where appropriate


• Provide ad hoc support to the wider private client function as required

About You

You are an experienced tax professional with a methodical approach and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.

• Proven experience preparing Isle of Man personal and company tax returns


• Good technical knowledge of Manx income tax compliance


• Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior staff


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines


• Clear and professional communication skills with clients and third parties


• A collaborative approach and willingness to support team objectives


• Commitment to maintaining up to date technical knowledge
