Join a dynamic operations team to manage vessel movements and maintain high standards across all voyages.
- Execute vessel operations efficiently, keeping voyage schedules, instructions, and documentation current and accurate
- Collaborate with Chartering, Trading, and other teams to manage recaps, voyage instructions, and contractual compliance
- Monitor voyages including ETA, ETB, ETS updates, stowage plans, and bunker supply arrangements
- Manage laytime calculations, freight and hire payments, and voyage closure schedules
- Maintain professional communications with stakeholders including vessel owners, charterers, brokers, and agents
About You
Bring your operational expertise and attention to detail to ensure seamless vessel management.
- Previous charter experience in a similar role within a grain trading organisation or owner/operator environment
- Proficiency in executing voyages, with a sound understanding of dry bulk time and voyage charter party terms and agreements
- Strong organisational skills to manage data, ensure compliance, and oversee voyage execution details
- Experience in bunker management, laytime, and port disbursement accounts
- Knowledge of marine insurance including P&I and war risk coverage is a plus
