Lead the operation and continual improvement of the 2G, 3G and 4G mobile packet core estate.
- Operate and maintain CS Core, SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW and PGW platforms ensuring KPI and SLA compliance
- Monitor, configure, patch and upgrade EPC and legacy core elements to maintain performance and resilience
- Troubleshoot complex signalling issues across SS7, SIP, Diameter, GTP and HTTPs protocols
- Support roaming, GRX connectivity and interconnect services across 2G, 3G and 4G networks
- Drive optimisation, capacity planning and lifecycle management of established mobile core infrastructure
About You
An experienced mobile core engineer with deep knowledge of legacy and LTE network technologies.
- Strong understanding of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile core architecture including CS and EPC environments
- Hands on experience with SGSN, GGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, HSS and associated IMS components
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve faults across core signalling and IP network layers
- Solid grounding in IP networking, routing, firewalls and virtualised telecoms infrastructure
- Collaborative approach with the flexibility to support a callout rota and adapt to evolving network demands
