Play a central role in guiding and strengthening risk and control practices across Customer Services.
- Provide day to day guidance, oversight and challenge on risk and control matters
- Support the design and continuous improvement of key controls across end to end customer journeys
- Identify and manage operational, conduct, regulatory, financial, data and fraud risks
- Manage risk events and data protection breaches including investigation, root cause analysis and action tracking
- Produce insightful risk reporting and MI with clear commentary for leadership and governance forums
About You
Bring sound judgement, regulatory awareness and a customer first mindset to a regulated financial services environment.
- Experience in risk, controls, operations or compliance within life assurance, pensions or similar regulated sectors
- Strong understanding of life assurance customer operations and relevant regulatory requirements
- Confident influencing and challenging stakeholders while operating independently
- Analytical and structured thinker able to interpret data, identify trends and determine root causes
- Clear communicator with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
