Provide strategic leadership while ensuring licensing applications and regulatory assessments are managed effectively and consistently.
- Lead and oversee the processing of new licence applications, extensions to permissions and designated business registrations
- Manage assessments relating to proposed controlled function holders and ensure appropriate records and actions are maintained
- Lead meetings with applicants, regulated entities and senior stakeholders
- Develop effective relationships with regulated entities, industry bodies, government departments and other regulators
- Drive team performance, continuous improvement and the effective delivery of divisional priorities
About You
Bring strong leadership, regulatory knowledge and sound judgement to a demanding senior management position.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant professional qualification
- Extensive experience within enforcement, operations, legal, compliance, assurance, risk or audit
- Proven leadership and people management experience within a collaborative environment
- Strong knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and industry developments
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication and strategic thinking skills
