The Role

Take ownership of complex credit assessments and help maintain a strong, well managed credit portfolio.

• Assess valuation assumptions, sustainable cash flows, loan to value, debt service and interest cover metrics


• Evaluate lease profiles, tenant quality, vacancy, break options and marketability


• Design or challenge security packages, guarantees, collateral arrangements and enforcement priorities


• Make credit decisions and recommendations in line with lending policies, regulatory requirements and sound risk principles


• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders while identifying and mitigating credit risks through effective monitoring

About You

Bring strong financial insight, commercial awareness and the confidence to make well considered credit decisions.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Commerce or a related discipline


• Previous experience in credit assessment, credit risk decision making and lending within banking or financial services


• Strong understanding of financial statements, repayment structures, collateral management and credit processes


• Strong decision making, analytical and communication skills with the ability to examine information critically


• Knowledge of real estate, ideally within the UK, property finance or structured lending would be advantageous
