Are you ready to take the lead in treasury management and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial operations of a dynamic organisation.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and develop the Treasury function


  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of treasury movements across internal and external accounts with minimal errors

  • Oversee the management of shareholder and policyholder cash ensuring security, liquidity and yield in line with Group Treasury Policy

  • Act as the primary escalation point between internal departments and external banking partners to resolve treasury related cash movements

  • Manage relationships with deposit and money market fund providers

  • Continuously evaluate and improve treasury systems, workflows and technologies to increase efficiency and automation

  • Maintain strict adherence to financial regulations, anti-money laundering standards and internal controls

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to sanctions, fraud, errors and payment failures with timely reporting of incidents

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Treasury Administrator team by setting goals, monitoring performance and fostering continuous improvement

  • Generate and analyse management information and create new reporting when required

  • Promote high levels of customer service internally and externally



About You

To succeed in this role you will bring proven treasury expertise and leadership ability


  • Previous experience within a Treasury role

  • Preferably a minimum of two years people management or team leadership experience

  • Strong working knowledge of international banking systems and payment platforms

  • Detailed understanding of cash based instruments used in treasury management

  • Highly numerate and analytical with the ability to evaluate financial data effectively

  • Excellent attention to detail especially when working with figures

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
