- Lead the development and management of residential, domiciliary, assisted living, befriending and day care services
- Ensure services uphold dignity, independence, and person-centred care principles
- Act as an advocate for the people supported and oversee care planning
- Provide effective leadership and manage staffing across the zone within budget
- Support the development and launch of new projects in collaboration with senior leadership
- Manage budgets and oversee financial performance of designated services
- Engage with carers, professionals and community groups to enhance service delivery
- Participate in committees and working groups relevant to care operations
About You
You are a dynamic and experienced professional ready to lead care services
- Strong experience in a supervisory or management role in health or social care
- Hold a relevant qualification such as Social Work, 1st Level Nursing, Allied Health Profession or Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Project management experience and familiarity with quality systems such as ISO are desirable
- Knowledge of the Isle of Man care legislation and regulatory environment is desirable
- Understanding of commissioning and provider systems for Learning Disabilities and Mental Health services is desirable
- Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle or alternative suitable mobility
- Experience in budget management is essential
- Ability to work flexibly and contribute to service user or fundraising events annually
