An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Support Officer to join a busy Payments and Operations team where you will play a key role in delivering excellent client service and ensuring smooth banking operations.

- Accurately process internal and external transactions, payments and FX instructions within strict deadlines while adhering to AML and CFT requirements
- Monitor and manage the Payments mailbox ensuring requests are handled promptly
- Deliver a professional and responsive service to internal and external banking clients
- Handle telephone queries with courtesy and professionalism
- Investigate payment queries and liaise with relevant departments to resolve issues
- Undertake account administration including closures, standing orders, audits and record updates
- Ensure daily payment checklists are completed and all transactions accounted for
- Produce and distribute client statements on a monthly or quarterly basis
- Support system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Assist with a variety of ad hoc administrative tasks as required
About You
You will bring strong attention to detail, enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering a first-class client experience
- Minimum GCSE or equivalent standard with passes in Mathematics and English preferred
- Good knowledge of payments, banking systems and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of AML and CFT practices
- Strong communication skills with a customer service focus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and Outlook
- Experience in banking or financial services preferred but not essential
- Team player with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Flexible proactive and motivated with a positive attitude to development
