Join us as a Payments Processing Team Leader within a large financial services group and make a positive impact on customers and colleagues while developing your leadership skills in a fast paced environment.

The Role

Lead and motivate a team to deliver successful customer and business outcomes while optimising capacity and managing operational escalations disputes and risks.


  • Support process re-engineering and automation initiatives by collaborating with support functions

  • Coach develop and motivate team members to achieve individual and team performance goals

  • Set clear objectives and expectations and conduct regular performance reviews

  • Ensure service levels are achieved through proactive resource management including scheduling absence management and workload allocation

  • Maintain up to date process documents contribute to defining performance targets and report critical MI to enable informed decision making

  • Deliver cost effective measures and contribute to simplifying the organisation

  • Support employee engagement by fostering a positive inclusive and collaborative team culture



About You

A confident people manager with strong leadership and analytical skills who thrives in a fast paced financial services environment.


  • Proven ability to engage and motivate teams to achieve business and individual outcomes

  • Experience working in a financial services environment with knowledge of industry and customers

  • Understanding of products processes and banking systems

  • Knowledge of risk compliance and legal issues across different jurisdictions

  • Ability to review processes analytically and maintain a focus on continuous improvement

  • Familiarity with LEAN tools and techniques considered an advantage
