Description

Join the Finance Department on the Isle of Man as a Senior Reconciliations Administrator and play a key role in keeping our financial controls accurate, compliant and running smoothly.

The Role

A hands on opportunity to take ownership of daily reconciliations and support month end reporting deadlines.


  • Reconcile and process money in and money out of bank accounts in line with the control timetable

  • Prepare and produce month end packs for sign off in accordance with month end accounting deadlines

  • Reconcile control accounts to ensure entries are posted accurately and efficiently

  • Download daily reports from various banks and internal systems

  • Complete daily journaling across multiple systems

  • Review and identify issues and support process or system developments where needed

  • Work with teams across the business to identify and clear reconciling items



About You

You are detail focused, organised and confident working to tight deadlines while maintaining strong financial controls.


  • Previous experience in a reconciliations or finance related role within the Life Assurance industry with transferable skills considered

  • Working knowledge of accounting systems, policy administration systems and related processes including error resolution

  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

  • Good working knowledge of Excel

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to clear items accurately and within set timescales
