The Role

Lead the development and oversight of a strong operations control environment while supporting effective risk management across the business

• Establish, implement and monitor operations control frameworks and tools across assigned business areas


• Track, analyse and remediate operational risks through key risk indicators and control monitoring activities


• Lead and develop a Controls Team to embed and maintain a robust control environment


• Influence stakeholders across operations and business functions to strengthen controls and minimise operational losses


• Produce analysis, dashboards and management information to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement

About You

Bring strong operational risk expertise together with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

• A degree in Audit, Risk Management or a related discipline


• Experience within Operations Control, Business Risk Committees or related governance environments


• Extensive knowledge of banking operations and financial products


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify emerging risks


• Experience evaluating risk management effectiveness and implementing control frameworks
