Lead a growing fleet through its next phase of expansion and bring your LNG and tanker expertise into a senior operational leadership role where safety, reliability and crew performance drive every decision.

The Role

Play a pivotal role in delivering safe, compliant, and efficient crew operations across a global fleet.


  • Lead end to end crew operations, ensuring safe, compliant and cost effective manning across the fleet

  • Drive operational excellence through compliance with MLC, STCW, Flag State requirements and internal standards

  • Manage operational and technical investigations, analyse trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives across fleet operations

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of crewing professionals while building capability and supporting effective decision making

  • Partner with Fleet Managers, vessel personnel, owners and third party providers to support operational performance, workforce planning and fleet growth



About You

You will bring substantial seagoing experience together with the leadership capability and technical expertise needed to support a modern LNG and tanker fleet.


  • Significant seagoing experience as a senior officer on LNG and/or tanker vessels, combined with a deep understanding of shipboard operations and vessel management

  • Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, cargo management, safety critical activities and maritime regulations, with a demonstrable understanding of LNG and tanker operations, including cargo operations, safety critical activities, vessel regulatory requirements, competency frameworks and human factors

  • Proven leadership experience within complex and fast paced operational environments, with experience leading teams and making sound decisions in time critical maritime operations, bringing strong judgement, credibility and professionalism when dealing with operational challenges, vessel incidents, stakeholder management and personnel matters

  • Ability to utilise operational experience, data, KPIs and industry insight to identify emerging risks, improve work processes, optimise work and rest hour management, enhance crew performance and drive sustainable operational improvements

  • Ability to identify risk, drive operational improvements and make sound decisions using data and operational insight

  • Thorough working knowledge of MLC, STCW, Flag State requirements and global crewing regulations, together with a practical understanding of Information Management System and tanker industry best practices, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into effective operational controls and crewing strategies
