Insurance Technician, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

The Role

You will provide technical and administrative support across war risks insurance policies, delivering a high standard of service to brokers, members and underwriting teams.

• Prepare, process and maintain war risks insurance policies, endorsements, renewals and cancellations


• Declare and process Additional Premium calls, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date


• Liaise with brokers, members, underwriters and claims handlers to support day to day policy administration


• Manage electronic records and documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements


• Support ship renewals and assist with Additional Premium calls involving sanctioned countries

About You

You will bring strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload within a professional insurance environment.

• Knowledge of insurance terminology and policy documentation


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused approach


• Previous experience within insurance administration, underwriting support or technical processing would be advantageous, particularly within marine or war risks insurance
